From the smooth melodies of Fado to the rustic textures of Cork, from the emotion-filled words of our renowned Poets to the intricate artistry of Filigree, from the picturesque landscapes of the Douro region to the delicate weaving of our Lacework, our rooms celebrate Portuguese traditions and will make your stay and journey even more enriching and inspiring.
The several common areas are perfect to connect with other guests and take part in the frequent themed nights like “Fado Night” and “São João”, but also to enjoy moments of reflection and unwind.

Let us tell you our story...
The story of the AirPorto Hostel began many years ago, even before 1956, but it was in that year that this so much cherished family home was built and that those walls and seeds in the garden started bearing witness to decades of history, lives well-lived and memories made.
Inspired by those family experiences, those deep roots in the history of the region and the same dream of hosting Portugal lovers with true Portuguese hospitality, two cousins decided to embark on this amazing journey, rolling up their sleeves and opening up their home and their hearts to everyone travelling in or through the Porto region.
After a lot of hard work and dedication, this beautifully refurbished and Portuguese heritage-infused family home was ready to welcome its first guests and with that, a new life was given to that home.
With every new guest we welcome at the AirPorto Hostel, we create new experiences that also become part of our own story and are passed on beyond borders and generations.
